Interestingly, this is not it. In an old interview with The Lallantop, actor Shashank Arora shared a light-hearted story from the sets of The Song of Scorpions, which starred Irrfan Khan, Golshifteh Farahani, and Arora himself. He recalled how Irrfan, known for his sharp humour, would often ask him to ride along to the India-Pakistan border during their shoot — just to fly a kite.

Pakistani content banned from Indian OTT platforms
In the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, India has taken a firm stance against Pakistani-origin content. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting recently issued an advisory directing all OTT platforms, media streaming services, and digital intermediaries operating in India to immediately remove Pakistani content.
The statement read,
“In the interest of national security, all OTT platforms, media streaming platforms and intermediaries operating in India are advised to discontinue the web series, films, songs, podcasts and other streaming media content, whether made available on a subscription based model or otherwise, having its origins in Pakistan with immediate effect.”
Pakistani actors erased from Bollywood songs and projects
Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, and Mawra Hocane are being digitally removed from Bollywood content. Music streaming platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music have taken down their images from song posters.
Mahira Khan is no longer seen on the Raees album covers, which now show only Shah Rukh Khan. Similarly, Fawad Khan’s face has been removed from Kapoor & Sons tracks.

Some songs have even become completely inaccessible. The popular track Buddhu Sa Mann, featuring Fawad alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt, is currently blocked on YouTube in India. Meanwhile, the upcoming film Abir Gulaal, which stars Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor, was set to release on May 9 but has been put on hold due to the diplomatic fallout after the Pahalgam terror attack.
