Indian Man Fired From Microsoft job

On Wednesday, Microsoft announced that it has decided to lay off about 10,000 employees, or around 5 percent of its total workforce. Since then, all the social media platforms have been flooded with stories of layoffs, with every individual sharing their own side of the story. One such instance that has garnered attention is of an Indian man who shared a bittersweet note on the internet after he got eliminated from his position at Microsoft after working with the company for over 21 years.

When it was anticipated that Microsoft’s income would decline and would show no similar pattern regarding its geographical location or product division, they resorted to layoffs.

As investors are becoming more and more concerned about the possibility of a recession, this decision of Microsoft is only one example of a more significant trend being followed by technology businesses which are reducing the number of positions they offer and slowing down the rate of acquiring and hiring new employees.

Microsoft is said to be “realigning business groups and roles” before the end of this fiscal year.
