The tourist destination Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir recently gained international attention after a vicious terror attack on tourists. It was the last blow in India and Pakistan’s already tense relationship. Following the incident, India made a dramatic change in its foreign policy by adopting a historic and assertive stance by boycotting Pakistan on all fronts, from trade to diplomacy and from culture to entertainment.
Most notably, India geo-blocked the Instagram accounts of some prominent Pakistani celebrities, including Hania Aamir. However, it seems that her fans are going to go to any extent to not boycott Hania. That’s why many reports are claiming that in order to view Hania’s Instagram activity, many Indian people started using VPN. Now, Hania Amir has also responded to his fans who did these sorts of things only to get in touch with her.

The Indian government as well as Indian people is seeing the Pahalgam attack, which took 26 lives, as more than just another act of terrorism. As a result, many people are now doubting the future of the India-Pakistan relationship. This sudden wave of sorrow disproportionately affected Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. It’s because she had just started becoming famous in India and has cordial ties with many Indian celebrities, including Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah. In addition to being banned in India, she had to leave Diljit Dosanjh’s most recent movie.

Hania Aamir earlier broke her silence on fake statements on Pahalgam terror attack attributed to her
Amid this hyper-tensioned environment between India and Pakistan, social media warriors are now using social media as a tool to spread fake and misleading facts on social media. Similar to this, a post that was mistakenly credited to Hania Aamir recently went viral on social media. It stated that following the shutdown of her account in India, she intended to ask Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to remove the online limitations placed on Pakistani celebrities.
Following this, Hania resorted to social media to make it clear that a statement purportedly made by her that has gone viral is fake. In an Instagram story, Hania Aamir wrote,
Recently, a statement has been falsely attributed to me and is being widely circulated on social media. I want to address this directly: I did not make this statement, and I do not endorse or align with the words being linked to me. It is entirely fabricated and misrepresents who I am and what I believe.
Furthermore, Hania Aamir took a dig at Indian side, saying that blaming without proof simply widens the divide. She wrote,

That being said, this is a deeply sensitive and emotional time. My heart goes out to the innocent lives lost and the families affected by the recent tragedy. Pain like this is real, and it deserves empathy-not politicization. In times like these, it’s easy to let emotions cloud our judgment, but we must remember: the actions of extremists do not represent an entire nation or its people. Assigning blame without proof only deepens divides and distracts from the real need for compassion, justice, and healing.
Concluding her message, she wrote,
To my beloved supporters, your love means everything to me. I kindly ask everyone to check the truth before sharing and to approach these difficult times with kindness and clarity. Let us honor those impacted by choosing empathy, truth, and togetherness. I remain committed to spreading positivity and respect in all that I do. With sincere condolences and hope for peace, -Hania Aamir

Hania Aamir earlier condemned the Pahalgam attack
Earlier, just after the Pahalgam attack, Hania Amir expressed her sorrow over the incident. In her Instagram story, she wrote,
Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. In pain, in grief, and in hope, we are one. When innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone- it belongs to all of us. No matter where we come from, grief speaks the same language. May we choose humanity, always.
Meanwhile, Hania Aamir is not the only Pakistani actress whose Instagram account got banned in India. Social media accounts of other Pakistani artists, including actor Fawad Khan, Mawra Hocane, singer Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, also faced geo-bans in India. Apart from this, India also geo-banned the social media accounts of many Pakistani politicians and cricketers. Even after all this, it doesn’t seem like this will end soon. Rather, as each day ends, it seems like this is just the beginning, something very big is going to happen in the coming days.
