Ghaziabad Househelp Finally Confesses Why She Was Mixing Urine In Roti Dough

In Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, an incident that came to light recently has left everyone shocked. The horrific incident occurred in the family of a real estate businessman. The family’s housemaid who has been working for them for eight years was discovered mixing urine in the dough used to make rotis. Reportedly, the family started suffering from mysterious liver issues that raised concerns. The police have arrested the maid working in the residential society.

How did they catch the maid using urine to knead the roti dough?

When several members of the family, including two children started experiencing similar liver issues. The businessman and his wife grew concerned and suspicious. Even after undergoing treatment and preventing the consumption of outside food, their health showed no improvement.

Suspecting foul play, Rupam Gautam, the local businessman’s wife started observing the maid’s activities in the kitchen. The wife of Nitin Gautam installed a hidden camera in the kitchen to keep a check on the maid’s activities. The accused house help, Reena is a 32-year-old woman.

The video footage recorded on Nitin Gautam’s mobile phone, allegedly shows Reena mixing urine with the flour used for rotis. What they saw in the video shocked them to their core as the family was oblivious of what was happening right under their nose.

Reena got arrested after the video was used as evidence

The family lodged a complaint with the police after collecting the evidence by recording the video. This led to Reena’s arrest a day after the surprising incident surfaced. Initially, Reena denied the accusations but later confessed to her deeds.

She was arrested on October 15 by the Crossings Republic Police Station team.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Wave City, Lipi Nagaich,

“During interrogation, the maid initially denied the allegations. However, upon being confronted with the video, she confessed to her actions. The maid claimed she was motivated by revenge after being frequently scolded by her employer for minor mistakes”

Why did Reena do this horrific deed?

Reena confessed later that she retorted to this action to seek revenge on the family as her employer used to scold her for minor mistakes in her work.

According to reports, ACP Nagaich said,

“During interrogation, the maid initially denied the allegations. However, upon being confronted with the video, she confessed to her actions. The maid claimed she was motivated by revenge after being frequently scolded by her employer for minor mistakes”

Reena has been charged under Section 272 of the Indian Penal Code for adulteration of food or drink, which could potentially spread diseases hazardous to life.

ACP Nagaich stated that further measures are being undertaken against the accused house help. She added,

“On 14th October, a written complaint was lodged at Crossings Republic PS by a complainant that a domestic help at her flat, Reena mixed urine to make flour dough. A case under relevant sections was registered at the PS. Teams were formed to arrest the accused. She was arrested from GH-7 society on 15th October. Further action is being undertaken”

By the incident, it seems that the maid had some mental issues or didn’t think that she might get caught for carrying out such actions.
