Gaurav Taneja Finally Speaks On Reports Of His Divorce From Wife Ritu Rathee

Indian YouTuber, Gaurav Taneja aka Flying Beast, and his wife Ritu Rathee have been making headlines recently for their relationship issues. Their separation rumors have been storming the internet and the fans and followers of the popular couple have been leaving their remarks and opinions on social media.

Gaurav Taneja and Ritu have two beautiful kids who are loved by their internet family, all the more reason their divorce rumors didn’t sit well with people. Netizens started blaming and accusing Gaurav for their separation which made the situation worse for the couple.

How did it all start?

The YouTuber couple used to share their family vlogs on YouTube and has channels with millions of subscribers. The controversy started when Ritu was missing from a family vacation and Gaurav did not mention anything about her in his videos. On September 28, 2024, Gaurav posted a cryptic message about his marriage to Ritu on his Instagram account, which increased the rumors.

A video uploaded by Ritu went viral amidst this where she mentioned that her husband has betrayed her over the years. Ritu later tried to take back her words but it didn’t work out.

Even Gaurav Taneja once shared that at one point he felt neglected by Ritu. The influencer couple were invited to participate in Star Plus’ couple reality show, Smart Jodi. In one of the episodes of the show, Gaurav revealed that after he and Ritu had their first baby, their relationship hit rock bottom. He was happy about the baby but he felt that Ritu no longer loved him. He said,

“At one point in time, I thought that Ritu didn’t love me anymore as I wasn’t her priority.”

Gaurav Taneja finally opened up about his and Ritu’s divorce rumors

Gaurav Taneja took to his Instagram and recently posted a picture of himself and his wife, Ritu Rathee. In the caption, Gaurav addressed the readers and stated that when one’s parents go through marital disturbances, they don’t discuss it with their children, even though they are an immediate family. He emphasized that certain things are personal and should not be shared with everyone. Gaurav wrote,

“To everyone reading this, your parents must have also gone through some tough times in their marriage and might not have even disclosed it to you (immediate family).”

By saying this Gaurav made the message clear that he and Ritu are not answerable to the netizens for their relationship problems.

Gaurav further added,

“Message is clear, jab tumhare maa baap ne tumhe apne relation mein nahi ghusaya, to please hum kaise ghusaye. Every sensible person would understand this.”
