Kissing – the act is considered normal in all the western countries but is considered a taboo in many others. In some countries, a kiss, if done in public, can land you in prison. Since cinema of any country is a reflection of the society, it takes into account the things the society considers sensitive. Thus on-screen kissing cannot be shown in a film of a conservative country. Indian cinema is not that conservative. So on-screen kissing is not a taboo. But sometimes, some top actors who have a set image in the eyes of the masses or actors who are just not personally comfortable say no to on-screen kissing.

1. Salman Khan
He has done a lot of romantic movies along with the intimate scenes. But he has his own rules which he follows and remains intact to his strict ‘No Kissing Policy’ in reel life.
2. Shilpa Shetty
This diva once ruled the film industry and has always given adrenaline rush with the bold scenes. But she has never kissed anyone on screen, not even Akshay Kumar with whom she was once in a rumored relationship.
3. Tamanna Bhatia
Tamanna made it pretty clear with a no to any kissing scene on screen along with any shot which includes nudity. It is really amazing to live by own terms and having this thin line to never cross.

4. Asin
Asin was so strict about no on-screen kissing that she even brought a change to the script of Ghajini. The film had Aamir Khan in the lead and was Asin’s first Hindi-language film.
5. Sonakshi Sinha
She made it very clear on the very first day of her shoot that she will not do any kissing scenes or bikini shots. If you remember her pool scene in ‘R Rajkumar’, you will realize how strictly she adheres to her policy.
6. Riteish Deshmukh
We have seen the actor making audiences laugh their butts off in adult comedies but Riteish Deshmukh has never shot any kissing scene on screen.

Ajay Devgan is widely respected for his onscreen image. When it comes to onscreen kissing, Devgan is so particular that he will get a script changed if it includes kisses.
8. Tusshar Kapoor
This son of Jitendra has made us go ROFL with his comedic roles in Golmaal series and the adult comedies but he made it pretty clear that he will never kiss his co-stars on screen.
9. Fawad Khan
This Pakistani actor goes by his Pakistani fans’ wishes. Since Pakistan is an Islamic Republic and an extremely conservative country, Fawad Khan might land in trouble if he does any on-screen kissing scene.
10. Ali Zafar
Another Pakistani who cannot risk offending the sensibilities of Pakistani fans. Ali Zafar is closer to the establishment in Pakistan than many other celebrities.
