Gender pay gap not only exists in the corporate sector but it is present in Bollywood as well. Over the time, we have seen many leading ladies raising their voices against the pay parity. It won’t be wrong to say that the Hindi film industry is at a good position now where stars are getting paid based on their talent and not on their gender.
Well, there are some actresses who were paid more than their male counterparts in their movies proving talent has nothing to do with the gender. Have a look:

1. Deepika Padukone
Deepika is one of the highest-paid actresses of Bollywood. With back-to-back hits, Deepika became a bankable star. It is said that the lady charges around Rs 26 crore per film and reportedly, she was paid around Rs 12 crore for Padmaavat. Apparently, her co-star Ranveer Singh got Rs 7-8 crore for the movie.
It was heard that during one of the interviews, Amitabh Bachchan also said that Deepika was paid more than him for Piku.

3. Shraddha Kapoor
Shraddha charges around Rs 23 crore per film, reportedly. It is believed that she was paid Rs 7 crore for Stree which was more than the pay cheque of Rajkummar.
It is also said that she was paid more than Sushant Singh Rajput for Chhichhore who charged Rs 5-7 crore for the film.

3. Kangana Ranaut
Currently, Kangana is said to be the highest-paid actress in the industry. After her film, Manikarnika made its way to the coveted Rs 100 crore club, she was paid more than Rajkummar Rao for Judgementall Hai Kya. The actress charges Rs 27 crore per film whereas Rajkummar gets Rs 7-9 crore for a movie.
Reports also had it that Kangana was paid more than Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in Rangoon.
4. Kareena Kapoor Khan
After giving birth to Taimur, Kareena made a comeback with Veere Di Wedding and Good Newzz. She is said to be getting Rs 20 crore per film. For Veere Di Wedding, she reportedly got more than all her co-stars including Sumeet Vyas who allegedly charged Rs 80 lakh. Apparently, Bebo got Rs 7 crore for the movie.
Rumours also said that she was paid more than Arjun Kapoor for Ki & Ka. The latter charges around Rs 5-7 crore for a film.
5. Alia Bhatt
With some versatile roles, Alia proved that she is the best product of nepotism. The lady has given many hits and it is said that she gets around Rs 22 crore per film. The actress got Rs 10 crore for Raazi whereas her co-star Vicky Kaushal charges around Rs 3-4 crore per film.
It is also being said that Alia will be paid more than her co-star Aditya Roy Kapur for Sadak 2. The latter charges around Rs 4 crore per film.
