“Cruel, heinous, and above all absurd.”

Kangana Ranaut is known for her unapologetic opinions when it comes to speaking her mind on certain topics. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she strongly reacted to the trending murder case of Raja Raghuvanshi, calling his wife Sonam’s actions dumb.

Kangana penned that his wife Sonam didn’t dare to oppose her marriage to Raja, but the same woman somehow manipulated and executed the brutal act of killing her husband with contract killers. She also conveyed that there were other solutions for Sonam, she could have given her husband a divorce or flee with her lover, but she chose to resort to such a dreadful crime.

“How absurd is this!! Woman can’t say no to marriage because she is scared of her own parents, but she can plan a cold-blooded murder with supari killers. This has been on my mind since morning, but not able to wrap my head around it!!! Uuffff getting a headache now!! She couldn’t even divorce or run away with her lover.”
Kangana also criticised Sonam, calling her ‘dumb’ and a danger to society. The actress warned others to be careful of the dumb people around them as they have no idea about their actions or their consequences. The actress continued,
“How cruel, heinous and above all absurd and dumb. Dumb people should never be taken lightly. They are the biggest threat to any society… We often laugh at them and think they are harmless, but it’s not true. Intelligent people may damage others for their own good, but remember a dumb person has no idea what they are doing !!! Be aware very aware of dumbness around you.”

Raja Raghuvanshi murder case
First, it was reported that Raja Raghuvanshi and his wife Sonam were missing at Sohra in Meghalaya’s East Khasi Hills district on May 23, where the couple apparently went on their honeymoon.

A few days later, Raghuvanshi’s body was found in a gorge near the Weisawdong waterfalls on June 2, while his wife, Sonam, 24, remained missing. Sonam was found at a dhaba in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, and was arrested. She reportedly surrendered herself at a local police station after staying out of sight for 17 days.
Further investigations revealed that Sonam plotted the brutal murder along with her lover and three hired killers. Even after admitting to the crime, Sonam later claimed innocence, alleging she was abducted and had no part to play in the crime. However, she confessed to the murder again after seeing her boyfriend on a video call.
