This time, the online food delivery app stirred up the internet for its quick response and action after a restaurant partner made a blunder by delivering a Birthday cake with ‘Tissue and Straws” written on it.
The customer took to X, and shared a picture of the Birthday Cake, written, “Happy Birthday Tissues and Straws” on it
The hilarious post by the user about the food delivery blunder by Zomato has gone viral on social media. The customer ordered a Birthday Cake from Zomato, and while ordering the cake, they added a note that read,

“Happy Birthday. Don’t send cutlery, tissues, and straws.” Much to their surprise, the cake arrived with the message, “Happy Birthday Tissues and Straws” written on it!
The customer, Arvinder, tagged Zomato and wrote,
Happy Birthday Tissues and Straws 😂😂 !This is what we received when we ordered the cake ! Pls instruct people to read instructions carefully 😉.
However Zomato was quick to acknowledge the issue and promised to refund the money 🙂

Zomato not only resolved the issue and promised a refund by responding promptly and professionally, but they also replied to the post, saying that they hope they enjoyed the cake despite the message mix-up. Zomato Care wrote,
