A disturbing incident has come to light from the Barra police station area in Kanpur, where a delivery boy from Zepto allegedly harassed a woman by sending her inappropriate messages after 2:00 AM. An X user posted screenshots of these inappropriate messages on social media, where they quickly went viral. This incident has sparked concern and outrage both locally and online.
This isn’t the first time Zepto delivery personnel have been accused of misconduct with women. There have been previous complaints against Zepto delivery staff for mistreating women. For example, in December 2022, a woman in Mumbai’s Khar neighborhood accused a Zepto rider of molestation. After she shared her experience on social media, the rider was arrested.
