Anand Mahindra, a business giant and entrepreneur, is praised for his active social media presence. As a result, he frequently found himself in unexpected internet situations.
In the same vein, a touching video of a little Noida child named Cheeku Yadav captured his heart last year. In the video that Mahindra posted, a precious chat between Cheeku and his father was recorded. The small boy really stated that he would want to purchase a Mahindra Thar for the surprisingly low amount of ₹700.

Cheeku mistakenly thought that the XUV 700 and the Thar could be purchased for this comparatively small sum of money. With his characteristic humor, Anand Mahindra replied, joking that the firm would eventually go bankrupt if it sold the Thar for ₹700.
My friend @soonitara sent me this saying “I love Cheeku!” So I watched some of his posts on Insta (@cheekuthenoidakid) and now I love him too. My only problem is that if we validated his claim & sold the Thar for 700 bucks, we’d be bankrupt pretty soon…😀 pic.twitter.com/j49jbP9PW4

Cheeku Yadav got a chance to visit Mahindra’s Chakan car plant
Fast forward to the present, and the story took an enchanting turn. Cheeku Yadav, a young and enthusiastic fan of Thar from last year, got the chance to see the Mahindra facility situated in Chakan, close to Pune. Anand Mahindra, who is always full of stories, posted a cute video of Cheeku enjoying his tour of the factory.
With his parents by his side, Cheeku pulled up to the Chakan facility in a bright red Thar. Notably, that red Thar was the realization of his childhood fantasy car. The young enthusiast was given a unique tour of the factory. While touring, he learned about the complex procedures that go into making Mahindra automobiles and enjoyed some behind-the-scenes moments.

Cheeku also got to see inside several Mahindra cars, maybe daydreaming about his upcoming travels in his trusty Thar. To add to the joy, Cheeku was graciously gifted a toy Thar, a token of appreciation from the Mahindra team.
Anand Mahindra shared Cheeku’s video from the tour
In his characteristic style, Anand Mahindra took to social media to share the joyous occasion. He thanked the Mahindra Auto team in his post for turning Cheeku’s viral video moment into a real-life experience. He also joked that he hoped Cheeku’s firsthand experience at the Chakan plant would discourage him from asking his father to have a Thar for the unlikely amount of ₹700. In his post on X, formerly known as Twitter, he wrote,
“CHEEKU goes to CHAKAN. From a viral video to a real-life adventure…Cheeku, the young Thar enthusiast, visited our Chakan plant, bringing smiles and inspiration with him. Thank you @ashakharga1 and Team @mahindraauto for hosting one of our best brand ambassadors! (And I’m hoping it also prevents him now from asking his Dad to buy him a Thar for only ₹700! 😅)”

The post soon went viral and has gotten a lot of reactions
Many users thanked the industrialist for making Cheeku’s dream real, while many congratulated Cheeku for getting such a special experience.
Respected Team Mahindra,
Pls take a bow for hosting such a cute brand ambassador. Hope this brings a paradigm shift in marketing- from running after successful known celebrities to bring forward the unknown gems, like our beloved honb’le PM @narendramodi ji has done with Padma…
