Rajinikanth later reacted to the controversies when he arrived back in Chennai and shortly interacted with media persons
He spoke to the media people stationed outside the airport. When he was asked about the controversy around touching the feet of UP CM, the actor revealed that the gesture was simply out of respect. He stated,
“It is my habit to touch the feet of Yogis or Sanyasis and take their blessings, even if they are younger than me. I have done that only”
According to reports by ANI, the action comedy film Jailer stars Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Mirnaa Menon, and Sunil besides Rajinikanth in prominent roles. The movie also has cameo appearances of Mohanlal, Tamannaah Bhatia, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff.
