In the most recent instance, notorious media figure Andrew Tate—known for his sexist and far-right remarks—tagged Greta Thunberg in a tweet that appeared to be teasing her and boasted about his collection of “33 cars” and their “enormous emissions.”

Hello @GretaThunberg I have 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start. Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions.

Twitter users swarmed to the reply box to make jokes or vent their annoyance with Tate, but Thunberg’s savvy response to Tate was the highlight of the entire exchange. It urged him to enlighten her and offered an insulting, fictitious email address in order to do so.

Replying to Tate’s tweet, Thunberg wrote,

Since it was published, Twitter users have raced to the comments area to voice their annoyance or mock Andrew Tate, while some have applauded Greta for her appropriate response.
