Neeraj Chopra’s message of congratulations to the athlete in the comments section caught more attention. Online admirers praised the athletes’ camaraderie. Neeraj wrote,

The chairman of the Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra, was also captivated by the respect Arshad and Neeraj share.

Anand Mahindra, an industrialist, praised this spirit of competitiveness that goes beyond animosity and hostility on Twitter. The 67-year-old industrialist posted a screenshot of Neeraj Chopra, who won gold in the Olympics in Tokyo, praising Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem.

In his tweet, Mahindra said that this is how the world ought to be. He continued by saying that Neeraj Chopra and Arshad Nadeem deserved gold medals for showing the difference between rivalry and animosity. His tweet read,

Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan won the javelin throw event at the Commonwealth Games, giving his nation its first gold medal. Nadeem is the first Pakistani to ever make it to the Olympic final of a track event. With an 84.62m throw, he placed sixth in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
