With these web series, the cast is also gaining a lot of popularity, and we cannot stop appreciating how talented some of them are. One such artist is Mithila Palkar, who stars in the YouTube web series ‘Girl in the City’ and ‘Little Things’. Remember the cup song, by Anna Kendrick from ‘Pitch Perfect’? Mithila performed her own version of the song and posted a video of the same. Her video Titled ‘Hi Chal Turu Turu’, cup song went viral on YouTube in no time and since then she has become a well-known star.

1. Mithila was born on 25th of April, 1993 in Mumbai, Maharashtra and comes from a traditional Maharashtrian family.
2. She still prefers to stay with her grandparents
She was initially not approved to join the film industry and was asked to think again her decision. Her grandparent doesn’t like the career she chose for her but they still support her in every way possible. Her grandfather has all the magazines and clipping that features her. He even searches YouTube for Mithila’s videos.
3. She started doing theatre when she was just 12 years old
She has always been very passionate about her acting, and always wanted to pursue her career in the field of acting. She used to participate in theatres in her school. She has confessed that theatre is her biggest high and will always be her first love.
4. Mithila graduated from Aadarsh Vidyalaya, Chikhli Dist Buldhana in the year 2013.
5. She has a degree in Mass Communication
Not many actors finish their studies because it looks to them like a waste of time, but Mithila took her time to complete her course in Mass Communication. She then ventured into advertising. She worked with Q Theatre Productions for a year in which she managed their Thespo Theatre Festival.
6. Mithila is a trained dancer and has learned music
Now that she has an international status, she is still quite fascinated by traditional art forms. She is trained in Indian dance form Kathak and music. She says that learning music and dance has given her an opportunity to know herself even better.

7. Her first audition at Quasar Theatre Productions didn’t went well
Mithila was not selected in audition but got backstage job to manage Thespo theatre festival.
8. Mithila Palkar did a short film in Marathi, called Majha Honeymoon in 2014
The movie was showcased in Mumbai Film Festival. It did not do very well but the storyline of the movie and the acting of Mithila did attract everyone’s appreciation and love.
9. Her first movie in Bollywood was Katti-Batti (2015) where she played the role Imran Khan’s sister.
Her performance was quite appreciated by the audiences.
10. Her struggle after the movie continued
She got noticed but she only got to do some advertisements, like that of Maggi, Tata Tea, and Zomato.

She acted in one of the episodes of the international show, ‘The Good Karma Hospital’, in which she plays the role of Shobha Pereira. he often posts pictures with her pets on Instagram and you can’t deny that looks absolutely adorable. She also loves music and she believes that she is defined by the music.
17. In 2017, Mithila starred in a Marathi movie called ‘Muramba’
She was seen alongside Amey Wagh and her performance in the movie was commendable.
18. It is in 2018, that Mithila got an opportunity to do her first lead role in the Indian movie named ‘Karwaan’
She was featured opposite some of the great actors of Bollywood Irrfan Khan, Kriti Kharbanda, and Dulquer Salmaan. She played the role of a woman named Tanya.
