Police got involved in Raveena Tandon’s Bandra rash driving case and gave a verdict that said…
On June 2, 2024, a mob filed a complaint at Khar police station against actress Raveena Tandon and her driver. The complaint accused Raveena of rash driving and hitting an older woman, while her driver was blamed for assaulting three women during the altercation.
Mumbai police, in a conversation with Mid-Day, provided clarity on the incident. They confirmed that no one was hurt or injured, and that Raveena Tandon was not under the influence of alcohol at the time. The police emphasized that the complaint was based on false accusations.
A police officer elaborated on the situation, explaining that CCTV footage revealed the sequence of events. The footage showed the actress’s driver reversing the car into their society as a family was crossing the lane. The family stopped the car and advised the driver to be more cautious when reversing. The police said as as per report,

“The complainant gave a false complaint in the alleged video. We checked the entire CCTV footage of the society and found that the actress’s driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when this family was crossing the same lane. The family stopped the car and told the driver that he should check if people were behind the car before reversing. This argument started between them.”
This interaction escalated into an argument between the driver and the family, leading to false accusations.

In this controversial case, Raveena Tandon received a ‘clean chit’ from the police
The inspector revealed that Raveena Tandon was falsely accused. Explaining further, the officer said that Raveena came out after hearing the commotion to see what was happening with her driver, and the mob attacked her, starting to abuse her.
The police added that the argument escalated into abusive language when Raveena arrived to protect her driver. Both Raveena and the family went to the Khar police station and filed written complaints. Later, they both submitted letters stating they did not want to pursue the complaints.

The officials confirmed that nobody was injured in the incident. CCTV footage showed that the car did not hit anyone. The officials’ exact words were as we quote,
“This argument escalated into abusive language, and actress Raveena Tandon arrived at the spot to check what had happened with her driver. The actress tried to protect the driver from the mob; however, the mob started abusing her. Both Raveena Tandon and the family went to the Khar police station and gave written complaints. Later, they both also submitted letters stating they did not want to register any complaints. Nobody was injured in this incident. We checked the CCTV footage, and the car did not hit anyone.”

On June 6, 2024, Raveena took to Instagram and shared her opinions. Firstly, she addressed her fans on her Instagram story, thanking them for their love and support regarding the infamous Bandra road rage incident. Besides expressing gratitude, Raveena shared her experience in a one-liner where she talked about how pertinent it is to install dashcams and CCTV cameras.
Her Instagram story read as we quote,
“Thank you for the overwhelming love, belief, and support. Moral of the story? Get dashcams and CCTVs now!”
