Rahul Dravid Angry CRED Ad

When we speak about calmness and patience on the cricket pitch, the first person that comes to one’s mind is Rahul Dravid. Over the years, Dravid has set an example on why cricket is called gentleman’s game. The classy batsman and his down to earth nature has always inspired young generation. But there have been few handful incidents when Rahul Dravid lost his cool.

Having said that, a new advertisement for a credit card payment app CRED featuring Rahul Dravid has gone viral on social media. The advertisement has been making people question their entire belief system simply because of the kind of things Dravid can be seen doing in it.

“The Wall” completely loses his cool in the advertisement and can be seen screaming from his car at a red light. He shouts at the commuters and even breaks the side-view mirror of the car standing next to his car with bat. Dravid can be heard yelling “Indiranagar ka gunda hun main” in the video. CRED, which deals in credit cards payments, has rolled out their first ad film of the year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) featuring Rahul Dravid and Bollywood actor Jim Sarbh.

Standup comedian Tanmay Bhat has written this ad along with Puneet Chadha, Nupur Pai, Devaiah Bopanna and Vishal Dayama. Founder of Early Man Film Ayappa KM has directed it.

Rahul Dravid calm nature has made this ad look more funny, and showed an unseen side of him. Indian skipper Virat Kohli could not resist and reacted on the video.
