Pankaj Tripathi Talks About His Bond With Sidharth Shukla Says, “Shehnaaz Reminds Me Of Him”

Pankaj Tripathi is one of the finest actors in our country. He made his debut in the year 2004 and since then has been a part of over 520 films and 65 television shows. He recently had an interview with a Canadian radio channel where he shared how Shehnaaz Gill reminds him of late actor Sidharth Shukla. Here is how it went.

In an interview with Connect FM Canada, Pankaj Tripathi was told that Shehnaaz who appeared on the show before him was all praises for him. The 46-year-old actor acknowledged it and thanked Shehnaaz by saying,

“Haan woh mujhe betaur abhineta pasand karti hai uske liye aabhar. Thank you. Abhi aapne Shehnaaz bola toh Sidharth ki yaad aa gayi. Bohot logon ko nahi maalum hai aur mein bataya bhi nahi hun lekin Sidharth bohot aadar karta tha mera. Hum log kaafi connected thhe.” (Yes, she likes me as an actor. Thank you. Now when you took Shehnaaz’s name, it instantly reminded me of Sidharth. A lot of people do not know this because I haven’t talked about it much but Sidharth used to respect me a lot. We were very much connected.) 

He further added that Shehnaaz reminds him of Sidharth

In the interview, he further added that Shehnaaz reminds him of our beloved late actor Sidharth. Since then, the video clip of Pankaj Tripathi saying so has been widely circulating among and by the fans of Sidharth.

Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla’s Bigg Boss 13 Journey

The Bigg Boss journey of Shehnaaz and Sidharth was more than just special. The 28-year-old Shehnaaz Kaur Gill rose to fame via Bigg Boss 13. Sidharth Shukla was already an established actor. During the show, Shehnaaz and Sidharth or better known as SidNaaz were the favorite pair of everyone. Together they won several hearts and Sidharth even won the Bigg Boss 13 title.

Sadly, last year, on 2nd September we all lost Sidharth Shukla due to a heart attack.

Shehnaaz Kaur Gill and Pankaj Tripathi’s ongoing endeavors

Shehnaaz Gill has come out to be stronger and more powerful now. She is soon going to make her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. She is currently shooting for the film which is directed by Farhad Samji. This Salman Khan film is a multi-starter therefore, along with Shehnaaz we will get to see actors like Venkatesh Daggubati and Pooja Hedge.

If we talk about Pankaj Tripathi, he recently was seen in the Netflix film Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga which was released in June. He was also seen in the third installment of Criminal Justice performing his famous character of uncanny lawyer Madhav Mishra. In this legal drama, he starred against Shweta Basu Prasad, Swastika Mukherjee, Purab Kohli, Aditya Gupta, Deshna Dugad, and Gaurav Gera. If we talk about his upcoming projects he will be seen in Oh My God 2, alongside Sayani Gupta and Neeraj Kabi.
