9 Wrestlers Of Indian Origin Who Made India Proud In WWE

Watching WWE and trying out those moves on our siblings/cousins was one of the most patient things we have done. From believing the stunts were real, to realizing that those are scripted and breaking our hearts we all grew up. There have always been moments in our daily lives where we imitated the signature moves of our favorite contestants.

Down the list are the names of participants who are of the Indian origin-

1. The Great Khali

He first joined WWE back in the year 2006. Since then he has been a fan favorite and is still loved by his audiences.

2. Jinder Mahal

Jinder was born in Punjab and the Punjabis oozes out from him. He joined WWE back in the year 2011.

3. The Singh Brothers

The Singh Brothers are a team between Sunil and Samir Singh. They were previously called The Bollywood Boyz. Back in 2016, they joined the WWE community.

4. Saurav Gurjar

Though his background went about kickboxing. He signed a contract with WWE in2018 which stated his joining with the community. He’ll start with training first and then the performance bit.

5. Rinku Singh Rajput

Rinku used to be a baseball player. Now he is a professional wrestler. In 2018 he joined WWE. He mainly plays for Raw and his game name is, ‘Veer’.

6. Mahabali Shera

In 2011, Mahabali was a performer in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling’s India Project, Ring Ra King. Having been a part of that event he signed up a contract with WWE in 2018 and is bow a part of the community. He uses Mahabali Shera as his ring name, but his actual name is, Singh Randhawa.

7. Tiger Ali Singh

Though he was born in Canada, he is very much Indian! Back in the 1990s, he was a thing for the majority of WWE games.

8. Kavita Devi

Not only is she Indian, but also the first Indian female wrestler of WWE. She won the gold medal during the South Asian Games back in 2016. And in 2018 she joined WWE as a performer.

9. Kishan Raftar

Being a part of the World Kabaddi League helped Kishan in paving the way for WWE. He joined back in 2015 but this career here didn’t last for a long time.
